The Xcentric Ripper is a hydraulic excavator attachment designed for the mass extraction of rock in mining and civil applications.
It has been developed with a patented system of ”Impact Technology by accumulation of energy”, which in most instances makes the Xcentric Ripper up to 5 times more productive than hydraulic breakers.
The all new Xcentric Ripper ”Mining Series” is focused on mining applications where the highest production values are required, as well as continuous work shifts where reliability and excavator operator comfort are paramount.
Whilst the working technology is based on the standard version, the new mining series has been reinforced with a re-modelled working platform, which delivers a much higher energy impact force to the work tool with a lower frequency.
The XR Mining series also has a narrower body profile making it ideal for tunneling or operating in confined areas and it’s able to work underwater without damage.
Designed to increase production, at lower operating costs and reduced noise levels, the all new XR Mining series is a revolution for high volume rock excavation.

- XR12 Suitable for demolition works, where noise is an issue. Also for excavation, trenching or recycling plants.
- XR17 Perfect in excavation and demolition in urban areas. Also for trenching, recycling plants, works underwater or in mud.
- XR22 Turns medium sized excavators into high performance machines. Ideal for excavation and demolition. Also for trenching, recycling or working in permafrost.
- XR32 The perfect tool for all types of excavation and demolition, low noise and high performance makes it a class leader.
- XR42 becomes the protagonist of the work site. In quarrying work excellent results are achieved with production volumes up to 120 m3 per hour. In trenching is unrivaled.
- XR52 Specially designed for high-volume production in quarries and infrastructure works. Production volumes are reached over 150 m3 per hour in limestone and other types of fractured rock. Also for trenching and recycling.
- XR62 Designed for high-volume production in quarries and infrastructure works (> 175 m3/hr). Normally used in areas, where drilling and blasting where explosives is not permitted for safety or environmental reasons. Also suitable for demolition, mining, etc.
- XR82 Production levels meets or exceed conventional equipment performance in quarries and infrastructure projects, where drilling and blasting are no longer allowed or are simply more expensive. It can achieve production volumes of more than 200 m3 per hour in fractured rock types. Very suitable for marine excavation in large dredging projects.
- XR122 The biggest Series Production model and is currently the largest serial attachment manufactured worldwide for quarrying. Production volumes up to 250 m3 per hour can be achieved. Ideal for mining, which brings great value and versatility to large tonnage excavators. Very appropriate for extracting marine works in dredging projects with adverse conditions.
